The Greatest Legacy

What is the greatest legacy we can pass on that will make an impact? It’s a life full of love, self-sacrifice, and service to God. Being a Christian means we have received the gift of eternal life through God’s grace and forgiveness. Our legacy begins in our hearts by accepting Jesus Christ as Lord and developing a personal relationship with Him. Then, we freely give what we have freely received by sharing our story with others.

God created you.

Psalm 139:13-16
“For you created my inmost being; you knit me together in my mother’s womb. I praise you because I am fearfully and wonderfully made; your works are wonderful, I know that full well. My frame was not hidden from you when I was made in the secret place, when I was woven together in the depths of the earth. Your eyes saw my unformed body; all the days ordained for me were written in your book before one of them came to be.”

God wants to have a personal relationship with you.

John 17:3
”Now this is eternal life: that they know you, the only true God, and Jesus Christ, whom you have sent.”

God loves you.

John 3:16-17
”For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life. For God did not send his Son into the world to condemn the world, but to save the world through him.”

What is Sin?

If you are not sure where to begin, the prayer below can help you communicate with God as you repent of your sins, receive His forgiveness, and accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Romans 10:9-10 says, “If you declare with your mouth, ‘Jesus is Lord,’ and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believe and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you profess your faith and are saved.”

What is sin?

James 4:17
“If anyone, then, knows the good they ought to do and doesn’t do it, it is sin for them.”
1 John 3:4
”Everyone who sins breaks the law; in fact, sin is lawlessness.”

Who has sinned?

Romans 3:23
“For all have sinned and fall short of the glory of God.”

What is so bad about sin?

Romans 6:23
“The wages of sin is death.”

Salvation Prayer

Dear Jesus,
I know that I am a sinner and I ask for your forgiveness. I believe you died for me and rose from the dead on the third day. Come into my life. I trust in you as my Lord and Savior and commit to serving you all my days. I pray that you guide my life as I seek your will.

Amen!

If you have accepted Jesus Christ as your savior, we want to celebrate with you. Please let us know by email so that we can pray for you. We also want to help you with your next steps, such as water baptism and connecting with a local church. Water baptism is a symbolic outward expression of the transformation that has taken place in your heart through salvation. If you want to learn more, please email us.

The Great Commission | Matthew 28:16-20

16 Then the eleven disciples went to Galilee, to the mountain where Jesus had told them to go. 17 When they saw him, they worshiped him; but some doubted. 18 Then Jesus came to them and said, “All authority in heaven and on earth has been given to me. 19 Therefore go and make disciples of all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father and of the Son and of the Holy Spirit, 20 and teaching them to obey everything I have commanded you. And surely I am with you always, to the very end of the age.
